An upside-down 'e' is known as a 'schwa.' When pronounced in English, it makes an 'uh' sound as in the second syllable of the word 'sofa.' It produces a short sound and is usually placed in unstressed vowel positions. In English, the schwa is the most recurring vowel sound. You can use these upside-down characters in Word or most applications that have a richedit control by entering in that code and then hitting the Alt+X key combination. How to Rotate Pages in PDF

Step 1: Open PDF

Firstly, open PDF in PDFelement using this 'Open File...' button or drag/drop the file to open.

Example 1: To input the letter ó, hold down the Option key, then the E key. Release both keys then type lowercase o.

Example 2: To input the letter Ó, hold down the Option key, then the E key. Release both keys then type capital O.
