Skype For Business Mac You%27re Not Configured To Connect To The Server

If I am not wrong you are asking about 'Microsoft Lync Client' which works as Skype for Business.

If I am correct then it means that your Lync Server is not published that's why you are using VPN to log-in into Skype for Business to do meetings.
Whereas I know to get rid from VPN, the one and only option is to publish your Microsoft Lync Client then you would have no need to be on your office network via VPN and you will be able to log-in into Skype for Business for any meeting. I am using that and working fine.

Skype For Business Mac You're Not Configured To Connect To The Server Free

I am having issues getting Skype of Business to open on iOS with my internal lync 2013 setup. A few years ago I was able to install the cert from the lync server onto an iOS device but this no longer seems to be working. When I attempt to sign in I get the message 'We can't connect to the server. Verify you have the latest version of Skype. Check your security software or Firewall settings to make sure they aren't blocking Skype. Are you using a VPN? If you are connected to a VPN and the call is unable to connect, then disconnect from the VPN and try the call again. Are you using a proxy server? Configure Connection Blocking settings on Mac. Connection Blocking settings apply to the incoming and the outgoing connections that use a specific application, service, port, or IP address. You can use the Connection Blocking window to configure whether an application or a service that is allowed to connect to the Internet or to the local network.
